Please bear in mind that, typically for period properties,†some features
(upstairs bathrooms in Ghyll Cottage, for example)†are less suited to guests
with certain mobility issues.†In addition, Ghyll Cottage has a low beam at
the foot of the stairs and a low door frame entering bedroom two, so tall
guests are asked to take particular care.
Little Ghyll is all on one†level and beam-free,†but is accessed via 4 uneven
steps down then 4 regular steps up.†The†beck is deep in parts here - historically
sheep were dipped in this stretch of water - so we strongly advise that only
adults stay in the annexe.† Children should be supervised at all times.
